Mob Rat John Alite was removed from his position as an Englishtown, NJ Councilman at the Englishtown Council’s meeting on August 26, 2026.
I attended the meeting. When the floor was opened for comment from the public, I asked Mayor Daniel Francisco and the Englishtown Council if they investigated the claims I made about John Alite at their Town Hall for Concerned Residents 17 months earlier, on March 21, 2025.
Alite had been appointed as a Councilman nine days earlier on March 12, 2025.
However– not only did they not comment. They didn’t even say “No comment.”
Unbeknownst to me when I spoke, two New Jersey State Police Officers were in the room, and dropped subpoenas on, I was told, two people there after the meeting ended.
The following is a Livestream I did outside the Englishtown Municipal Building, where the meeting was held, after the meeting ended.
The official reason for John Alite’s removal from the Council, was that he missed eight meetings in a row (because he has been in jail, detained without bail since his June 19, 2026 arrest by the New Jersey State Police).
Per Englishtown’s rules, if a Councilman misses eight meetings in a row, they will be removed from the Council.
When I began speaking during the public portion, I said to Mayor Daniel Francisco and the Council that I believed they owed me an apology, a thank you, maybe some kind of an award, as I warned them about John Alite at their meeting 17 months earlier, and brought up there that — amongst other things — Alite continued committing crimes since his 2012 release, and was not the “changed man” he claimed to be.
The residents in the room that night did not want to hear it, John Alite lied and falsely denied that I was telling the truth, and the residents and Police told me to leave.
The video I shot of what happened at the March 21, 2025 Town Hall can be viewed on this website HERE.
I will play footage from the August 26, 2026 Council Meeting in the true crime docu-series I am writing and directing:
RAT FICTION: The Bizarre True Story of Lying Informants John Alite and John Gotti Jr.

NOTE: To add to the bizarre nature of the story– one of John Alite’s attorneys representing him in his current criminal case in Passaic County, NJ, is Ray Mateo. A partner at the prestigious New Jersey-New York law firm composed of former federal and state prosecutors, Calcagni & Kanefsky.
Ray Mateo is not just someone I have known over 22 years, since Summer 2004. We consider each other Family, as he is my fraternity Brother from the Epsilon Chapter of Phi Iota Alpha at Binghamton University.
He pledged in Spring 2001. I pledged in Fall 2005.
That said– I also discussed Ray Mateo, a great guy who I would take a bullet for, in this video.
